Position Description:
As an Oracle E-Business Suite Specialist, your responsibilities will include:
Crafting, coding, and deploying tailored solutions within Oracle E-Business Suite.
Offering expert technical advice and direction to project teams regarding Oracle solutions.
Delivering technical assistance and resolving issues across EBS modules.
Keeping abreast of the latest features and advancements in Oracle EBS.
Diagnosing and rectifying technical problems within Oracle applications.
Collaborating closely with business stakeholders to grasp requirements and translate them into technical resolutions.
Executing system testing and optimizing performance for Oracle applications.
Compiling comprehensive technical specifications and user manuals for Oracle systems.
Providing training sessions to end-users on Oracle applications and maintaining ongoing support.
Contributing to project planning and estimation for Oracle implementations.
Required Skills:
Technical Expertise:
Proficiency in SQL and PL/SQL.
Experience with Oracle Forms 10g and Oracle Reports 10g.
Familiarity with Oracle Discoverer.
In-depth understanding of Oracle EBS APIs.
Knowledgeable about Oracle EBS Applications Standards, Architecture, and Database Objects.
Functional Expertise:
Understanding of Supply Chain Management (SCM) modules.
Proficiency in Finance modules.
Candidate Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
Possession of Oracle certification, such as Oracle Certified Professional.
At least 5 years of hands-on experience in developing Oracle applications.
Preference for experience in industries like finance, healthcare, or manufacturing.
Fluent in English; additional languages considered advantageous.
Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
Capable of both collaborative teamwork and independent work.
