Additionally, the role involves accurately inputting this information into SAP, which is situated at Fujairah Trading Enterprises.
Your tasks will include:
Reviewing the packing list provided by the Principal/vendor, comparing the number of packages physically received to ensure alignment with the packing list.
Unpacking the packages, conducting thorough inspections for any damages, and accurately counting the number of individual items to confirm they match the packing list.
Verifying the correctness of received parts by matching part numbers on the packing list with those on the actual items.
Identify any shortages, damages, or incorrect parts and promptly notify the supervisor while documenting these issues in a damage report.
Organizing the parts by size in designated areas facilitates efficient storage and retrieval.
Moving parts to their designated locations based on the packing list, prioritizing heavier items for lower or medium-level storage and lighter items for higher positions.
Handling goods with the utmost care during transportation to prevent damage, ensuring proper handling techniques are employed.
Items are placed in assigned bins or delivery locations as specified in the binning list or delivery order, and an organized and safe storage environment is maintained.
Loading and unloading goods from containers, trailers, or pick-up trucks promptly and cautiously to safeguard the integrity of the goods.
Utilizing forklifts or other loading equipment to transfer parts to their designated locations with precision and care.
Generating Good Receipts to acknowledge the receipt of goods formally.
Managed inventory of consumable items such as brake cleaners and WD40, issuing them to workshops as needed.
Success in this role necessitates a blend of warehouse expertise, parts familiarity, particularly in the automotive sector, and strong communication abilities.
As part of a collaborative team, you’ll be under the supervision of the Aftersales Manager, engaging closely with internal and external partners.
Qualifications for this position include a High School Diploma, 1-2 years of experience in warehousing, proficiency in Microsoft Office and SAP software, and a valid forklift driving license.
