Planner

Summary of Role:
As a Planner, you will assist the Senior Planner and Planning Manager in analyzing comprehensive plans encompassing sales trends, gross margin, and inventory. Collaborating closely with the Buying and Store teams, your primary goal will be to enhance retail profits by strategically planning and managing product ranges across the region. Your responsibilities include overseeing delivery, allocation, and replenishment processes to ensure alignment with agreed-upon plans, while also identifying and acting upon opportunities to improve sales and stock management efficiency.

Role Profile:
The role entails ensuring the availability of appropriate products and stock in optimal quantities, at the right locations, and at the right times. Responsibilities include:

Overseeing line and product category performance to maintain optimal stock levels through store transfers, replenishment, and effective management of sell-through rates and markdowns.
Planning clearance and end-of-season markdowns to achieve targeted sell-through rates aligned with business margin expectations.
Generating hindsight reports to evaluate performance against plans, including weekly summaries of sales, stock, and intake (WSSI), and communicating any risks to profit or stock targets to senior management.
Analyzing customer profiles, trends, and preferences to inform product and stock decisions that meet customer expectations.
Cultivating and maintaining strong relationships within and between departments to facilitate open communication and collaboration.
Monitoring warehouse service levels and coordinating with logistics to ensure timely shipment tracking and delivery of stock transfers.

Requirements:
A graduate degree in a relevant field, preferably in business or finance.
2 to 4 years of experience in a Planner role, with mandatory experience in a retail environment.
Excellent to fluent proficiency in English.
