Responsibilities:

Develop and manage the annual sales plan and demand order plan.
Create demand and sales forecasts across various distribution channels.
Enhance stock turnover by minimizing excess and obsolete inventory.
Collaborate with OEMs and internal teams for reporting, forecasting, campaign management, and vehicle life cycle support.
Formulate sales planning strategies to achieve market share and profitability targets.
Utilize data to forecast market trends, segment model mix volume, and set budget/forecast assumptions for sales and stock planning.
Oversee the supply chain to ensure a balanced financial position and efficient stock management, from factory order to final customer delivery, working with OEMs, suppliers, and group value chain teams.
Develop detailed annual and quarterly sales and demand plans by model and channel.
Prepare and evaluate forecast data.
Conduct monthly reviews of sales and demand plans with each distribution channel.
Assess and manage risks associated with supply and demand variability.
Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance forecast accuracy and reduce bias by implementing best practices.
Develop and measure key performance indicators to evaluate the effectiveness of the demand planning and forecasting function.
Collaborate with sales and marketing to understand forecast demand drivers.
Regularly review stock levels and procedures to determine appropriate stock levels, considering future campaign activities, and place orders accordingly.
Identify overstock and slow-moving vehicles, and work with the product manager and sales support manager to resolve issues.
Handle all ad hoc reporting, analysis, and presentations.
Work closely with product, pricing, and sales distribution channels to review sales, demand planning, and performance with brands, principals, and relevant Centers of Excellence (CoEs).
Create sales performance reports.
Recommend monthly sales and demand plans by model and variant.
Provide data support for logistics to control inbound shipments and ensure timely clearance of documents and related requirements.
Create dashboards to monitor progress and adherence to processes.
Take necessary actions or provide advice for effective inventory control.

About the Team:

This role reports to the Managing Director of Electric Vehicles Business Models and Acceleration and involves regular interaction with both internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications for the Role:

Bachelor’s degree with proven experience in planning and analysis.
5 years of work experience in sales planning and marketing within leading automotive brands.
Strategic and structured understanding of business, sales, and marketing, both long-term and short-term.
Analytical and data-driven with strong planning and communication skills.
Focused on driving commercial results.
In-depth knowledge of sales planning procedures.
Demonstrated experience in developing management reporting packs and presenting to senior leadership.
Proficiency in MS Office, particularly advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills.
Familiarity with inventory management systems and supply chain modules in ERP systems.
