Position Description:
Joining the Automotive Finance team, your role entails aiding management in various capacities:

Contributing to the formulation of an IT strategic roadmap for finance operations in both the UAE and international automotive sectors.
Crafting process guidelines and procedures for the finance function, aiming to standardize processes across different entities.
Taking charge of driving digitization efforts within the finance domain of the automotive sector.
Orchestrating the integration of optimal business processes into an ERP environment, devising solutions that align with customers’ business needs as part of the overarching ERP program.
Providing comprehensive support and project management throughout the entire lifecycle, collaborating closely with IT teams.

Policy, Standard Operating Procedures, and Guidelines:
Lead a comprehensive process mapping initiative across finance operations, leveraging expertise from subject matter experts.
Document process flows and develops detailed Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and E-Learning materials. Facilitate the implementation of SOPs across all functions.
Evaluate SOPs within overseas operations, recommend best practices, and provide tools for implementation.
Establish a robust governance framework to ensure SOPs remain current and relevant.
Drive process alignment to establish a standardized approach across the organization.
Respond promptly to changes in the business environment, adapting finance processes accordingly. Provide support for training and development plans and manage escalations effectively.
Process Re-Engineering:
Continuously review front-end business and core finance processes to identify opportunities for digitization and enhance operational efficiency, effectiveness, and risk management.
Explore modern tools and techniques for integration into existing or new business and finance processes.
Collaborate with finance functions across various business units, centers of excellence, and shared services to drive process improvements.

Change Management:
Oversee change management activities in collaboration with Subject Matter Experts, EIT, super users, and power users.
Ensure the dissemination of best practices across all entities, locations, and showrooms.

Training & Development:
Develop comprehensive training and development plans tailored for finance associates, covering areas such as accounting, internal controls, and specialized skills in IFRS, Treasury, Tax, etc.
Design and execute a training program aimed at enhancing the capabilities of finance associates across different functional workstreams.

Key Skills for Success:
Proficiency in ERP systems, with a strong understanding of core ERP processes.
Fundamental grasp of controllership and compliance principles.
Effective communication skills to convey complex financial concepts and ideas.
Logical thinking abilities coupled with a background in accounting.

About the Team:
This position will report to the Finance Manager for System Process & Compliance.

Qualifications for Success:
Possession of a professional accounting qualification such as CA/ACCA or equivalent.
Ideally, a degree in Information Systems/Project Management or a related discipline would be advantageous.
A minimum of 8-10 years of experience, including at least 2 years supporting SAP or other ERP processes, or relevant retail support experience.
Preference will be given to candidates with experience in the Automotive or retail industries.
