The role is designed to support the Senior Manager of Product and Pricing in formulating comprehensive price and product strategies through analysis, statistical insights, and market assessments. Responsibilities include guiding the team in creating short and medium-term product plans aligned with market requirements and the overarching Trading Enterprise (TE) strategy. Additionally, the role involves contributing to the establishment of long-term market and brand forecasts.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage the entire product lifecycle, from strategic planning to tactical activities, including pricing, trim levels, and product options.
Rationalize and maintain a product offering that ensures viability and profitability aligned with regional customer demand.
Monitor customer and industry trends to identify potential threats and opportunities.
Ensure timely delivery of product plans.
Determine target customers and primary/secondary competitors for each carline to ensure effective positioning.
Collaborate with brand principals to secure the ideal product offer for the UAE market, considering customer requirements and market parameters.
Recommend series mix by carline to optimize revenue, profitability, and volumes.
Specify market requirements for current and future products through market research and network visits.
Investigate opportunities for factory-sourced or locally developed special editions/customized vehicles.
Develop accessory offers across brands and improve parts penetration in collaboration with the parts department.
Work with Brand General Managers to determine ideal product offer and positioning for each carline and series.
Provide regular updates to senior management and cross-functional teams on product performance and market changes.
Collaborate closely with OEM/regional offices.
Work with brand marketing managers and advertising agencies to develop marketing material.
Ensure accurate product data in all published material.
Conduct pricing and product analyses, determine pricing strategy, and assist in setting list prices and price policies.
Produce positioning analysis for each carline.
Generate monthly reports on product and price mix for internal and principal reporting.
Monitor competitor prices and brand strategy in the UAE.
Contribute to budget building phase.
Conduct regular price, specification, and positioning reviews.
Ensure accuracy in forecasting information and provide recommendations.
Stay updated on competitive brands and product launches.
Recommend, set up, conduct, and analyze market studies.
Identify innovation opportunities through global trends and initiatives, with a focus on Hybrid technology.
Ensure compliance and alignment with Principal reporting requirements.
Successfully launch hybrid/alternative energy products.
Conduct product launch meetings and anticipate market evolutions and customer behaviors.
Communicate new model introductions and necessary product changes internally.
Provide ongoing sales support material to sales teams.
Improve inventory turnover by reducing aged stock.

OEM experience in product and pricing.

About the Team:
Reporting to the Senior Manager Product and Pricing and will work closely with internal and external stakeholders.
Qualifications for the Role:
Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing.
4 years of pertinent experience in automotive pricing and product management at either the Original Equipment Manufacturer or Major Distributor level.
Proficiency in utilizing pricing tools.
Capability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting, collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, and ensure high-quality deliverables with meticulous attention to detail.
Proven ability to develop, execute, and oversee entire product lifecycles.
Strong affinity with cars and the automotive industry, particularly within the Gulf Cooperation Council, and familiarity with mass-market automotive brands.
