Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage project budgets, ensuring expenses are tracked, invoices are reviewed, and financial regulations are met.
- Generate financial reports and analysis for stakeholders, focusing on key financial metrics and identifying variances.
- Collaborate with project managers and teams to develop and monitor accurate project budgets, ensuring timely and precise financial data.
- Assist in preparing project proposals and providing budget estimates and financial justifications.
- Monitor and control project costs, identifying opportunities for savings and recommending corrective actions.
- Ensure timely and accurate billing and invoicing to clients or funding agencies, adhering to project-specific guidelines.
- Coordinate with project teams to ensure effective allocation and utilization of project funds.
- Conduct regular audits and financial reconciliations to ensure adherence to project guidelines and regulations.
- Provide financial support and guidance to project teams, addressing any financial-related questions or issues.
- Stay current with industry trends and financial regulations, implementing necessary updates to maintain compliance.
Desired Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- CMA (Certified Management Accountant) qualification is preferred.
- 5-10 years of experience in project accounting or a related role.
- Prior experience in the construction or engineering industry is highly preferred.
- Strong understanding of project accounting principles and financial regulations.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet deadlines.
