Maintaining accurate records of purchases and inventory levels.
Collaborating with other departments to ensure procurement needs are met.
Monitoring supplier performance and addressing any issues that arise.
Ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
Identifying opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
Keeping up-to-date with industry trends and best practices.
Good time management, prioritization and multitasking abilities
Computer proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel & Word programs
Excellent interpersonal and social skills
Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Logistics, or a related field may be required.
Coordinating with the procurement team to ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
Communicating with vendors to obtain quotes and negotiate pricing and terms of payment.
Managing purchase orders and ensuring accuracy of information.
Conducting market research to identify new suppliers and products.
Candidate Profile:
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and procurement software.
Ability to build and maintain relationships with vendors and internal stakeholders.
Strong analytical skills and ability to make data-driven decisions.
Self-motivated and proactive.
Minimum 2-3 years work related experience
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, supply chain management, or a related field.
2-3 years of experience in procurement or purchasing.
Knowledge of procurement processes and procedures.
