The ideal candidate will implement and uphold procurement policies while maintaining accurate records.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage purchase orders for materials and supplies, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Identify potential vendors through research and negotiate contracts to secure favourable terms.
- Resolve any issues or delays in the delivery of materials promptly.
- Monitor and track purchase orders to ensure they align with budget and project timelines.
- Develop and maintain procurement policies and procedures to streamline operations.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification in procurement or supply chain management is advantageous.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in purchasing or supply chain management.
- Experience within the manufacturing industry is desirable.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accurate record-keeping.
