Job Description:
We seek an Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Specialist to oversee safety inspections, training, and compliance within our organization. Responsibilities include maintaining incident reports, conducting risk assessments, and ensuring adherence to safety standards. The role involves contributing to the development and improvement of our EHS programs and participating in audits and inspections.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct safety inspections and provide relevant training.
Maintain reports on incidents, near misses, and accident investigations.
Enforce safety standards and promote a safe working environment.
Assist in developing, implementing, and monitoring EHS programs.
Participate in audits, inspections, and surveys, tracking corrective actions.
Desired Candidate Profile:
Bachelor’s degree in occupational health and safety or a related field.
NEBOSH certification preferred.
Minimum 2 years of experience in safety inspection.
Knowledge of relevant safety regulations and standards.
Strong attention to detail and observational skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Problem-solving and analytical abilities.
Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks.
Physical fitness and adaptability to various work environments.
