Job Title: Sales Engineer – Fire Fighting Systems

We seek a highly motivated and dynamic sales engineer to join our team, who will be responsible for driving sales and promoting our fire fighting systems. The ideal candidate will focus on identifying new business opportunities, cultivating client relationships, and providing expert technical solutions in fire safety. In this role, you will work closely with internal teams to ensure exceptional service delivery and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Business Development & Sales:
    • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the fire fighting systems market.
    • Build strong relationships with key clients, contractors, consultants, and industry professionals.
    • Manage sales leads and efficiently oversee the sales pipeline.
    • Deliver product demonstrations, presentations, and technical consultations to potential clients.
  • Technical Expertise & Solutions:
  • Provide expert advice on fire protection systems, including fire alarm systems, fire suppression systems, sprinklers, and related equipment.
  • Understand customer needs and offer tailored solutions to meet their specific requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with local fire safety regulations and industry standards (e.g., NFPA, EN, local codes).
  • Customer Support & Project Coordination:
  • Offer pre-sales technical and post-sales support to ensure smooth installation and ongoing maintenance.
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other internal teams for effective project execution.
  • Market Insights & Reporting:
  • Stay informed about market trends, competitor activities, and new technologies in fire safety.
  • Provide management regular reports and sales forecasts on opportunities, performance, and market developments.

Qualifications:

  • Education:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Fire Safety, Electrical, or a related field).
  • Experience:
  • Minimum 2 years of proven experience as a Sales Engineer, Business Development Engineer, or in a similar role within the fire protection or safety industry.
  • Strong technical knowledge of fire fighting systems (e.g., sprinklers, fire alarms, suppression systems, extinguishers).
  • Skills:
  • In-depth understanding of fire safety regulations, codes, and industry standards.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to simplify complex technical concepts for diverse audiences.
  • Goal-driven, self-motivated, and capable of working under pressure.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM software.
  • Additional Requirements:
  • Valid driver’s license with a willingness to travel.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
