For the past two decades,The Senior Inventory Control Manager plays a pivotal role in leading and directing the Inventory Control function across all territories. Responsible for shaping and managing the Food and Beverage inventory control strategy at Majid Al Futtaim Entertainment, this role focuses on optimizing operations through strategic cost management to ensure seamless delivery of exceptional customer experiences.
ROLE PROFILE
- Supports Majid Al Futtaim’s business expansion and growth across the UAE and regional markets.
- Develops and executes effective inventory management strategies that align with business objectives and market dynamics.
- Facilitates frequent communication with external stakeholders to enhance coordination with the Food and Beverage team and Director.
- Conducts inventory audits and compares findings with system-generated stock reconciliation reports.
- Analyzes historical stock levels, conducts quality control audits on group data, and oversees setup of Vista systems and Point Of Sale systems.
- Monitors and analyzes Cost Of Goods Sold (COGS) to ensure operational adherence to budgetary constraints.
- Collaborates with inventory control supervisors and entertainment managers to minimize losses and reduce variances.
- Provides comprehensive cost of sales analysis, presenting key insights to facilitate informed decision-making for the Food and Beverage Director.
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management, Inventory Control, or Operations Management.
- 8-10 years of experience in Inventory Control specifically within the Food and Beverage industry.
- Familiarity with FMC, Vista/Micros systems is advantageous.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
- Strong analytical skills essential for accurate assessment and observation.
- Ability to effectively engage with diverse internal and external stakeholders.
