Role Overview:

Join Al Futtaim Motors, a leading name in the automotive sector, as our Demand & Supply Senior Manager. You’ll play a pivotal role in strategizing and executing supply plans for all models, ensuring alignment with short-term and long-term business objectives. Your focus will be on optimizing supply to meet sales targets and enhance profitability through effective risk assessment and opportunity identification.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with management and Toyota Motor Corporation (TMC) to finalize Toyota’s sales plan, ensuring alignment with business targets.
  • Negotiate with TMC to optimize supply, assessing risks and variability in demand, and proactively identifying opportunities to mitigate risks.
  • Lead regular meetings with channel heads, key functions, and management to strategize and achieve sales targets.
  • Prepare and present proposals for Demand & Supply (D&S) meetings with TMC and AFM management, focusing on sales opportunities and risk management.
  • Develop strategies to synchronize ordering with gross margins to facilitate profitability and streamline decision-making processes.
  • Implement strategies to strengthen the TMC relationship through Heijunka (production levelling), utilizing advanced forecasting to minimize production disruptions and meet TMC’s award criteria.
  • Drive the Sales Plan by collaborating with stakeholders, formulating action plans, conducting market and competition analyses, and optimizing stock management to achieve targeted market share.
  • Foster continuous development within the D&S team to enhance individual capabilities and overall team effectiveness.

Required Skills for Success:

  • Bachelor’s degree combined with significant experience in supply chain management, particularly in sales planning and forecasting.
  • Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience within the automotive industry, preferably with a focus on Toyota brands.
  • Proficiency in utilizing systems such as SAP, Cosmos, Tableau, and Alteryx is advantageous.

    About the Team:

This role reports to the GM of Business Planning and Strategy. You will collaborate closely with TMC’s Demand & Supply planning teams, Sales Channels, PDH Parts ordering Pricing Team, Brand and Marketing Team, Finance Team, and Senior Management.
