Objective:
To ensure the competitiveness of prices and optimize promotional programs to enhance the value-for-money perception of MAF in a profitable manner.

Responsibilities:

Develop pricing and promotional strategies for various formats (HM, SM, Conv, Online) aligned with their Customer Value Proposition (CVP). Contribute to setting annual objectives, both overall and by product category, in close collaboration with the leadership team.
Enhance transparency regarding our price competitiveness and promotion effectiveness. Engage stakeholders and leadership to address any performance gaps through aligned actions.
Establish a plan for checking competitors’ prices based on requirements and budget. Oversee price check service providers to ensure timely delivery of quality insights. Gather intelligence on competitor promotions through methods such as Flyer Checks.
Enhance pricing and promotion management capabilities through the development of tools and processes. Define functional requirements for pricing tools and collaborate with partners to implement them, utilizing advanced analytics and data-driven insights for dynamic pricing optimization.
Supervise daily pricing activities with the price and promotion team. This includes preparing and cleaning price data and developing price recommendations based on agreed-upon rules. Collaborate with merchants to ensure timely actions are taken to improve price positioning.
Manage weekly promotional activities. Work closely with merchants to plan more effective promotions in a timely manner. Coordinate with store operations to ensure the smooth and timely execution of promotional events in stores.
Build and lead the pricing and promotion team. Manage and foster the development of team members to enhance overall effectiveness.
This role involves strategic planning, data analysis, stakeholder engagement, team leadership, and continuous improvement to drive competitiveness and profitability in pricing and promotions.

Requirements:

A bachelor’s degree in management and an MBA in the same field are advantageous.
3-5 years of experience, preferably in retail, FMCG, or analytical managerial roles.
Full professional proficiency in English is required.
Strong people management skills, including leading and developing teams and building capabilities.
Proficiency in pricing, project management, and promotion management.
