Key Responsibilities:
- Strategy & Business Planning Support:
Assist in developing and implementing strategies and business plans across logistics verticals, including freight forwarding, warehousing, supply chain, and contract logistics. This includes conducting market analysis, competitive assessments, and financial projections and ensuring operational excellence and efficient resource allocation. - Market Research & Opportunity Identification:
Collaborate with the BI team and external consultants to conduct in-depth research and analysis to uncover growth opportunities, market trends, and potential risks. Support planning and feasibility studies for logistics business expansion across the region. - Financial Planning & Forecasting:
Work closely with the Finance team to develop and maintain financial models and forecasts to support strategic planning, business decision-making, and performance evaluations. - Performance Monitoring:
Track and monitor business performance, identifying key opportunities and areas of concern. Ensure timely actions are taken to address any issues or challenges that arise. - Project Collaboration & Support:
Partner with business heads on specific projects or deep dives, ensuring effective execution and follow-up. Provide regular updates on key initiatives’ progress, challenges, and resolutions. - Business Reviews & Updates:
Prepare and conduct periodic reviews of business initiatives and plans, ensuring they are on track and aligned with set timelines and delivery requirements. Update and refine plans as needed to meet evolving goals. - Industry & Technology Awareness:
Stay informed about the latest industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies, identifying opportunities for innovation and competitive advantage within the logistics sector.
