Job Description:
As the Lead Manager for Fire Protection & Life Safety projects, you will oversee the entire project lifecycle, from conception to completion, ensuring adherence to budget and schedule constraints. Key responsibilities include:
Defining project goals, objectives, and priorities, and effectively communicating them to the project team and stakeholders.
Ensuring strict compliance with international and local standards, codes of practice, and company policies and procedures.
Developing comprehensive engineering designs, drawings, specifications, and project budgets.
Monitoring project progress closely and adapting plans as necessary to mitigate risks and resolve issues.
Establishing and nurturing relationships with project stakeholders, such as clients, contractors, and suppliers.
Guaranteeing project compliance with contractual obligations, quality and safety requirements, and financial performance targets.
Desired Candidate Profile:
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
A minimum of 10 years of experience in managing MEP projects within the engineering industry.
Demonstrated success in delivering large, complex MEP projects on time and within budget.
Exceptional communication, negotiation, and team management abilities.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for identifying and mitigating risks.
Familiarity with international and local standards and regulations.
Proficiency in written and spoken English.
