Job Description: Sales Engineer – Industrial Products

Role Overview
We seek a motivated and dynamic Sales Engineer to promote and sell our industrial products, including Electric Air Compressors, Diesel Generators, and Engine & Transmission systems. This role focuses on building relationships with clients across private companies, government entities, and individuals in Abu Dhabi and Al Ain, aiming to maintain and expand market share.

As a Sales Engineer, you will leverage your technical expertise and communication skills to identify prospects, develop customer relationships, and drive sales. This position also involves collaborating with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction and delivering post-sales support.


Key Responsibilities

  • Sales and Business Development:
  • Identify and engage new prospects through various channels, including media and cold calls, converting leads into long-term clients.
  • Maintain and grow market share by selling industrial products in assigned territories.
  • Promote service and maintenance contracts post-sales to enhance customer retention.
  • Technical Expertise:
  • Acquire and maintain an in-depth technical understanding of the company’s products.
  • Stay updated on competitors’ products, pricing, and market positioning to offer competitive advantages.
  • Customer Relationship Management:
  • Serve as the primary link between clients and the Service Department to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Follow up on outstanding payments and escalate default cases to the department head when necessary.
  • Reporting and Communication:
  • Prepare and submit weekly and monthly reports to the line manager, including customer visit logs, inquiry updates, and quotation statuses.
  • Attend weekly sales meetings to provide updates and align strategies with the team.
  • Collaboration:
  • Work closely with the Line Manager to review outstanding quotations, gather market updates, and refine processes to comply with quality policies.

Requirements

  • Educational Qualifications:
  • B.Sc. in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
  • Experience:
  • 1–2 years of experience in industrial product sales, preferably in a competitive market.
  • Skills:
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet targets.
  • Other Requirements:
  • UAE Driving License.
  • Presentable and professional demeanor.
