We are looking for a passionate Service Business Manager to lead and drive the service operations for labor and parts at our Abu Dhabi branch. The role covers Air Products, Warehouse Products, Tools, and Accessories, ensuring the delivery of top-tier services across the region. The ideal candidate will bring extensive knowledge and hands-on experience with centrifugal compressors, with a strong preference for expertise in Ingersoll Rand Centac machines.

Key Responsibilities
Revenue and Customer Growth

  • Drive parts and service sales to support revenue growth and enhance customer engagement.
  • Develop and implement distribution strategies to increase customer retention.
  • Identify and recapture lost customers while exploring new sales opportunities with actionable strategies.
  • Customer and Territory Management.
  • Manage customer requirements, ensuring on-time delivery while addressing lead times and demand fluctuations.
  • Build and maintain strong industry relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Execute individual sales processes with diligence, ensuring thorough engagement from initiation to close.
    Team Leadership and Performance Optimization
  • Lead a team of After Sales Engineers and Service Managers.
  • Oversee technician deployment to maximize productivity and performance.
  • Foster a high-performing and collaborative team culture.
    Industry Knowledge and Compliance
  • Stay updated on industry regulations, standards, and best practices, particularly in the oil and gas sector.
  • Monitor market trends, including supply-demand dynamics, pricing, and competitor activities, to maintain sales volume and product mix.
  • Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Technical Expertise: In-depth knowledge of compressed air systems and related accessories, including their applications.
  • Communication and Negotiation: Strong presentation and negotiation skills to effectively communicate technical and commercial information.
  • Business Acumen: A solid understanding of market dynamics and ability to secure favorable agreements.
  • Relationship Building: Proven ability to establish and maintain lasting client and stakeholder relationships.
  • Territory Management: Proficiency in mapping and managing territories for optimized sales efforts.
    Team Management: Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate teams, driving collaboration and high performance.
    Preferred Background
    Experience:
  • Minimum of 10 years in compressor, dryer, winch, BOP hoist, and tool services.
  • Previous experience in the UAE or Middle East in a similar capacity is advantageous.
  • Hands-on experience with Ingersoll Rand Centac machines, winches, and man riders is a distinct advantage.
    Education:
  • A degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
  • Expertise in techno-commercial aspects, including long-term service agreements with oil and gas clients.
    Team Leadership:
  • Proven ability to manage teams of 5+ technicians or service supervisors.
