Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement fire protection systems, ensuring compliance with local regulations and safety standards.
- Perform site inspections to evaluate existing fire safety measures and propose improvements.
- Develop and prepare comprehensive project documentation, including plans, specifications, and detailed reports for firefighting installations.
- Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to integrate fire safety systems into building designs seamlessly.
- Oversee installing, testing, and commissioning fire alarm and suppression systems, ensuring they meet all quality and safety requirements.
- Manage project schedules and budgets, ensuring timely delivery of fire protection systems within financial constraints.
- Provide training and guidance to site personnel on fire safety protocols and the correct use of fire safety equipment.
- Conduct risk assessments to identify potential fire hazards and develop mitigation strategies.
- Stay informed on the latest industry trends, technologies, and regulatory changes related to fire safety.
- Serve as the primary liaison for fire safety inspections and audits conducted by regulatory authorities.
Desired Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
- At least 2 years of hands-on experience designing and implementing fire fighting systems.
- Professional certifications, such as NFPA, FPE, or equivalent, are highly preferred.
- Experience in large-scale construction projects, particularly in the commercial or industrial sectors.
- In-depth knowledge of fire safety codes, standards (including NFPA), and local regulations.
- Proficiency in English; additional language skills are a plus, especially in diverse project settings.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with teams and stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a keen focus on safety and attention to detail.
- Physically fit to conduct regular site inspections and manage safety protocols on-site.
- Valid driver’s license and availability to travel to project sites as required.
