Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement fire protection systems, ensuring compliance with local regulations and safety standards.
  • Perform site inspections to evaluate existing fire safety measures and propose improvements.
  • Develop and prepare comprehensive project documentation, including plans, specifications, and detailed reports for firefighting installations.
  • Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to integrate fire safety systems into building designs seamlessly.
  • Oversee installing, testing, and commissioning fire alarm and suppression systems, ensuring they meet all quality and safety requirements.
  • Manage project schedules and budgets, ensuring timely delivery of fire protection systems within financial constraints.
  • Provide training and guidance to site personnel on fire safety protocols and the correct use of fire safety equipment.
  • Conduct risk assessments to identify potential fire hazards and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Stay informed on the latest industry trends, technologies, and regulatory changes related to fire safety.
  • Serve as the primary liaison for fire safety inspections and audits conducted by regulatory authorities.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
  • At least 2 years of hands-on experience designing and implementing fire fighting systems.
  • Professional certifications, such as NFPA, FPE, or equivalent, are highly preferred.
  • Experience in large-scale construction projects, particularly in the commercial or industrial sectors.
  • In-depth knowledge of fire safety codes, standards (including NFPA), and local regulations.
  • Proficiency in English; additional language skills are a plus, especially in diverse project settings.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with teams and stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a keen focus on safety and attention to detail.
  • Physically fit to conduct regular site inspections and manage safety protocols on-site.
  • Valid driver’s license and availability to travel to project sites as required.
