Job Title: Testing & Commissioning Engineer – Fire Fighting & Fire Alarm Systems
We seek a highly skilled and experienced Testing & Commissioning Engineer to manage all aspects of testing, commissioning, and maintenance of Fire Fighting and Fire Alarm Systems. The ideal candidate will ensure system performance, compliance with safety standards, and coordination with relevant authorities, such as Civil Defense, for approvals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the testing and commissioning processes for Fire Fighting and Fire Alarm systems.
- Coordinate with Civil Defense authorities to obtain necessary Testing & Commissioning (TC) approvals.
- Manage and supervise maintenance work related to fire protection systems to ensure continued performance and compliance.
- Document and report all testing results, highlighting discrepancies and suggesting corrective actions.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to resolve technical issues during commissioning phases.
- Develop and execute detailed testing plans and protocols to ensure all systems meet operational and performance standards.
- Ensure strict compliance with local safety codes, standards, and project specifications during all phases of work.
- Oversee project timelines, ensuring all commissioning tasks are completed on schedule and within budget.
- Stay updated with industry advancements and implement best practices into testing and commissioning procedures.
Desired Candidate Profile:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
- Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in testing and commissioning Fire Fighting and Fire Alarm systems.
- Experience with large-scale construction or infrastructure projects in the UAE or GCC region is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of local regulations, safety standards, and Civil Defense requirements.
- Proficient in preparing technical documentation and detailed reporting.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive, solution-driven approach.
- Strong team player with the ability to work independently when required.
- Willingness to travel and work on-site across various project locations.
